Samsung Electronics

The Hitch

In creating one of the largest booths on the floor at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, Samsung Electronics wanted to create excitement to showcase their brand. The design was extremely complex, and it was important that all exhibit and production vendors communicate clearly to ensure the pieces all fit together smoothly.

The Fix

We oversaw the rigging on this project and created the technical design drawings, working closely with AV, exhibit and signage vendors to ensure every measurement was correct. Curved video walls, perimeter signs, lighting and other hanging scenic elements all had to land precisely in place.

The Specs

60ft x 40ft booth, 70+ motors, 1400ft of truss

Rainbow Six Major Raleigh 2019

The Hitch

The Six Majors Raleigh esports event needed to be highly visual for both live and streaming audiences. The biggest challenge was how to support multiple large, heavy LED walls in a ballroom space with limited rigging points and low weight capacities.

The Fix

We used our knowledge of the Raleigh Convention Center ballroom to create an installation plan that was unique and safe. We were able to take the initial proposed design and create a detailed plan with a super grid to spread the load of the rig evenly throughout the space. We were able to achieve the design without compromise.

The Specs

Multi-level grid systems, 63 motors, 780ft of truss

GE Healthcare

The Hitch

GE Healthcare strives to have the most impressive booth at RSNA (Radiological Society of North America). The design of this booth always includes massive, curving video walls and in years past, GE exceeded their budget due to overtime and incorrect gear specs. No rigging vendor had ever been used for a second year.

The Fix

At 260ft by 80ft, efficiently producing a booth of this magnitude takes great skill, foresight, and attention to detail. We were able to streamline the process from pre-production to execution. We needed to coordinate with flooring, scenic, video and lighting to make sure that every schedule was being met. Due to our pre-production services and onsite efficiency, we have been working on GE’s booth since 2015.

The Specs

42,000lbs suspended video wall, 120+ motors, 2,234ft of truss
